That happened to my sister's dog...vet couldn't do anything for him, had to put him down. he was 14 years old.

I once had a male beagle who prolapsed his penis. Sugar and a moistened cloth couldn't take the swelling down enough that it would retract into the sheath. Enlisted my teen aged son's help to hold the dog. Cut the sheath enough to get the penis back in place. Son asked, "Why did that happen?" I replied, "I've been warning you about touching that thing too much." He shook his and as he walked away mumbled, "I knew better than to ask."

Dd2 was 15 and had a "boyfriend" over to visit one day. I had 2 bucklings I neede to band. He decided to offer assistance so I said sure.. I got him situated holding the 12 wk old buck and had the band on before the bf knew what happend.. he had no idea what I meant by banding.. poor boy went all shades of green and couldn't get his feet under himself for about 15 mins..
