Just got back! Went for one and brought home 3. Chicken math right?

They need some TLC but will get pics in the morning. Paid waaay too much for them (in all honesty should have left them) but they do come from good stock. All three will get baths tomorrow and a good permethrin soaking. They have lice.

Poor babies. The place must be infested for the babes to have the creepy crawlers so young. You should call DFACS. Dept of Family and CHICKEN Services!

I’m just not sure how a “breeder” could let that happen. Hmmm hmmm hmmm! Terrible!

Hey what day do9 you candle eggs first I usually wait till day 10

I have only incubated once, but I’m pretty sure I first candled on Day 5, maybe 7, then 11, then 14, then 18. Yeah, I was a little anxious. I can go back in my records and look to be sure if I need to.
