while I am grateful that I am still receiving a paycheck, I am getting very irritated at all of these people who are griping and moaning about having to stay home...while they are able to collect unemployment and to get the $600 a week supplement on top of the regular unemployment,
Meaning some of them are bringing in as much or more in a week as I do in a month.
Some of them are reaping food stamp benefits to top that, and then a free breakfast and lunch everyday from the school.
And still bitching and moaning.
No one ever pays me to stay home. 😢

I am working from home currently and it is very busy for me!

I am happy though that I have a job that can be done from home

I still hear people here talking about when things get back to normal. Even with an effective vaccine it won't be a cure and like all vaccines, it will work better for some than for others.
I'm pretty low risk of contracting the virus because I was an antisocial fecker before; I've just got a good excuse now. What is proving difficult is the others here being unable to work. I can't claim any kind of state benefit. But, as soon as the movement restrictions are eased I will be able to earn some money crop picking if necessary. The migrant workers can't get here because of the European travel restrictions.

I am pretty anti social too.
If it weren't for work I wouldn't see people for weeks.
Sucks your people can't work and you can't get benefits. See.. this is what irks me about all the ones home complaining that are receiving a multitude of benefits.
 
We are retired the Son 38 is disabled he will care for us when we are not able.
We are in good health so to speak my what scares me, The idiot here calling for people to rebel about being shut down.. They have never lived through the May Day riot in Seattle, or the race riots in California all very real and that idiot in the white house want more discord .. That is what scare me crazy eyes.gif
 
It's been almost impossible to get any accurate information on the so called relief packages supposedly for the poor in Spain. The Spanish government is one of the least transparent institutions in Europe. I have yet to meet or hear directly of anyone who has received anything more than the standard unemployment benefit and the delays in getting this are far worse than normal.
It seems the story is similar in the UK. Businesses, particularity the large corporations usually have massive borrowing capacity and if necessary this can be used to tide them over until bureaucracy finally delivers. The small business and the self employed don't usually have sufficient cash flow, even if they have assets to cover stagnation for a long period of time.
I can remember when I was self employed and when I owned a small company one major payment default could wipe me out. Despite all the propaganda regarding small business support and encouraging entrepreneurs, when it came to the banks one may as well have been asking for millions rather than a low interest short term loan.
I've seen various estimates of where the trillions of dollars of crisis support money is going in the USA and if you're reading this, I doubt you'll be getting anything like what you will need if you can't work.
