We are all so unique in our body chemistry and cues, yet out bodies only have so many tools to communicate to us. If you are sensitive to the differences that's a valuable tool. A dry mouth means you are already dehydrated, hunger pangs are the first signal for thirst as a general rule. Those low sugar shakes are a big signal you need food! Definitely need to cut the salt way way back although thankfully that’s kind of happened naturally since I’m cutting the processed junk too.
Thankfully my signals are usually pretty distinct although I have done that before. But If I’m hungry (depending on how long it’s been since I last ate) I’ll usually either get like almost pain, just VERY angry, growly stomach or I’ll even start feeling like physically weak/just weird if it’s been too long and usually headache eventually whereas with water/dehydration, my mouth, lips and, oddly, eyes will feel quite dry and almost crusty and the inside of my mouth and I just know
