I broke out my first batch of fermented kraut! It is so delicious!! It really turned out great. I had another batch going but the liquid seeped over and I removed a little more than I should have so the deer are getting that batch. Cheers to gut health.

Also bought a small pork butt today since they were half off at the grocery. Any good recipes you have to prepare it. I’m not a meat smoker so it will basically be an instant pot or crock pot meal. Thoughts?

My grandparents like to roast pork in the crock pot with a lot of sauerkraut and tomatoes. When I crock-pot anything I add rosemary and Garlic.

Just threw it in the instant pot with sliced onion, crushed garlic and steak seasoning and BBQ sauce. It sure smells good…give me an hour and I’ll let you know how it turns out. I love that stinking instant pot!

I also brought up all of my attachments for my kitchen aid mixer. It is amazing how much more you use an appliance when you don’t have to rummage in the basement for the attachments🙄

The Buffalo horn was actually a hand me down so to speak from his “brother” (our last dog) that he found 😂🤣 BUT! That said, I’m pretty sure I got it at Walmart. IDK if they still have it but if not I think they have it other places too.

It’s his favorite tbh and it is extremely durable and has held up very well which is saying something because his jaws are EXTREMELY strong. The hooves are super durable too. And he likes bully sticks but I don’t really buy those as much anymore because they’re pretty expensive. Although we have a local place that sells them very cheap. But still.

You can use a permanent marker and write or draw on a jar or glass that you already have.
