I'm trying to think of cheap (but effective) ways to keep the rabbit room cool. It gets so hot and muggy here, with their thick coats they'll get overheated. If there's hot air in there a fan won't do much.
And I'm not sure what exactly I'll make it out of..
I'm thinking it'll have an entry way with some storage space for supplies and the rest will be space for the rabbits to run.

Rabbit coolers.
2 liter pop bottles, filled 2/3rds of the way full, frozen overnight. Works just fine. Rabbits flop down next to them. Two per rabbit, one freezing and one being used.

Great idea!! I'm not sure how rabbits are with fans, but frozen bottles in front of a fan would help cool things down also.

Have an exhaust fan and ventilation also.
