I would not use fly spray around poults. We bought some fly stuff for our cows so Iāll see if that will work and/or is safe for the poults. If not Iāll look into those for sure.

Definitely not a big enough area.Theyāre outgrowing this tiny brooder so I will be making a larger one and/or making their permanent tractor coop (by me I mean my husband). I only have 6.

They will get big enough.Very well. Iāll just let it be. It doesnāt bother me since they are further out in my front yard and away from my chickens and chicks.
(These are heritage so they wonāt get huge and will reproduce without help)

They get a lot bigger in the same amount of time which is why they need the high protein so they can grow fast.Yes, I figured that once I had to move them every single day. Plus theyāre growing so much faster than chicks in my eyes anyway. Iāll try and have them moved to a bigger place by the end of the week.

That's cecal poop and it should not have bubbles in it. How old are they? Do you have Safeguard and Corid?
Turkey math can be worse than chicken math because they are much easier to become attached to.Cool. So Iāll keep their high protein feed and build them a temporary larger coop to get them out of that small one asap.
Then Iāll build a tractor coop large enough to house 6 full grown turkeys (Even though I donāt plan to ever have more than 4).
Turkey math isnāt the same as chicken math right? Cuz Iām slowly realizing guinea math is close to the same as chicken math...
Thank you all
I am sure that Kathy would at least recommend having the Corid if not both. Personally I don't have either. If mine are going to live, they will live, if they are going to be sickly, I "help" them on their way. So far this has worked good for me in maintaining a healthy flock. It may not work well for someone else.Weāre going to TSC now. Is Safeguard and Corid something good to have on hand or just buy it when we actually need it?
