oh wow you know what pekins are im impressed truly most people just assume they are miniture cochisn when they are actually a seperate breed

I'm getting my first LF Cochin (a white fluffball) with my spring order and I can't wait to join the Cochin Café! I see you're getting a Barnevelder -- I have a blue laced red Barnevelder and she is an AMAZING hen. Absolutely gorgeous to look at, low drama, extremely hardy, very good layer, super good at alarming at threats, and surprisingly she is an incredible broody. We can't have her hatching eggs so we've needed to break her every time but it takes more than a week to do it. I have a feeling she'd make an incredible mother. You won't be disappointed with Barnevelders!

just as you wont be dissappointed with cochins, while there are typically friendly ive found that if you dont handle them alot as they get older they arent as cuddly so be sure to give your little angel lots of attention

They sure are! I got mine from a local breeder and I've seen others with blue laced red barnevelders that look pretty much just like my Hilda.
