Well, the auction ended, and I have chatted with the seller, and she told me that the winner has been in constant contact so far, and seems to be going thru with the purchase! The seller is going to keep us updated!

Can you believe it? I want to sell a silkie for 1200.00! Holy cow, I would build the chicken coop from heaven with that money! Sheesh!

I have a strict policy not to spent more than $50 on a SQ bird....and, of course, the death of my son's bird caused me to spend $100 on his replacement. I am still reeling from that!! $1,200???? I'd have a heart attack....no, I wouldn't have the chance. DH would KILL me!!

People spend that much on other pets...dogs, etc. If someone has the money and wants to buy a chicken, so what???
