?? 1 day old chick falls on his back??

i have a 1 day old chick just born yesterday he was doing fine at first then i noticed last night that he keeps falling onto his back his belly up and cant seem to turn hisself over i have to keep a check on him every few mins. to turn his back up on his feet.. what c ould be causing this.

Hows he holding up? I posted with something similar, does he have any other issues? Mine falls on his back, and seems very lathargic, eyes closed...lost 3 like that. Someone suggested to me that they may be getting Omphalitis and to give them antibiotics in their water and rinse thier umbilicus with bactine or iodine. So I started that this morning on the 1 chick that I have left that is struggling and he seems to be doing better already. He is gaining strength in his legs. Good luck!
