Here is a picture of a Split Lavender hen that is from the breeding pen for these eggs. She doesn't look her best because of breeding, and it's hard to get her exact color in a picture. But she is the Purple Hen that I was talking about.

Everyone who has seen her are blown away by her coloring!
 
PC's right.....you never know who is lurking in the shadows waiting till the last minute to pounce on these eggs....
