The coop that my layer pullets are in is less than a foot off the ground but I still added a ramp because their water is outside of the coop and it makes it easier for them to get in and out when they have to go get a drink at night. I also want them to be used to a ramp because I plan on building a bigger coop eventually and they will need one on it, and of course there's the issue of future babies.
I LOVE that green coop! My mother is adopting 2-3 of my Muscovy ducklings and I think a coop like that would be just perfect for them! I would also make the door bigger, even if it's just for chickens.
