1 month old chickens no feathers on chest is that normal?

hi i have 9 chickens that is a month old one of them has no feathers on chest looks to be male should i be concerned.

When you say no feathers do you mean the chest is bare skin or that the down had not yet been replaced by feathers?

all the others has chest feathers this one doesn't

Are they all the same breed?

Hmmm... What type of flooring are they kept on and is the bedding thick enough? Maybe the down has rubbed off. You could try giving him a shot of protein. Hard boiled eggs worked well for my birds when they had thin down.

That's the keel, and it's a featherless zone. Even on adult birds. There are never feathers growing in that spot. Completely normal.

no i have 2 yellows and 7 black mixed with white i don't know what kind they are

The blacks with white are Barred Rocks, you've got at least one cockerel. Your yellows are either White Leghorns or White Rocks.
