When I came home yesterday I my dogs where going nut there was a fox in the duck/goose pen. He got one of my geese I picked him up immediately and put him in the tub to have a better look at the wounds. they all seem to be not bad I was able to stop the bleeding. Last night the poor thing could not lift his head he looked like an ostrich when he stood up. He has been drinking water whole time. This morning he seemed a little better but still having hard time with his neck. I have him in the house in a crate. this after noon when I went to check on him he was standing up and his head was up too. yahhhh. its still wobbly but when I show him the cup of water he goes for it himself now and drinks I don't have to hold up his head. I am hoping he is getting better. Is there anything else I need to do for him? should I mix food in with the water??? should I still clean out wounds in case of infection or should I just let him heal his own?????? Any suggestions info would be greatly appreciated thanks
