I got 10 turkeys from a local farmer 2 weeks ago and they all seems healthy until 2 days ago when one of the jersey buff poults started looking lethargic and not as active as the rest. Today his wings are drooping to the ground and he just stands in one spot under the lamp, closes his eyes and wobbles a bit. When I pick him up he opens his eyes and seems alert but has a weak body. What can I do?? I have some turkey electrolytes on the way but I'd like some insight on what might help him.....

Coccidiosis might be a problem especially since he is on new ground. I would treat all the poults with Corid (amprollium) in their water for 5 days. Also give probiotics to help the gut bacteria. If he stops drinking, you need to syringe feed the Corid for him to get the benefit of the meds. If you can't find Corid, get sulfadimethoxine or Sulmet, but Corid is best.
