Hey all! I’m new here, new chick mama. I got 15 chicks from Atwoods on Saturday. I lost 1 yesterday and 1 today 😢 My brooder is outside but is large. I have 2 lamps but lately have only had to run 1 due to warmer temps in Texas. Keeping temp 85-90. I’m feeding the medicated Manna feed. Water has some electrolyte and a little ACV and a little probiotic. Bedding is pine shavings and every day I add fresh on top. Am I doing anything wrong or is this just normal? I buried 1 baby yesterday and now have to bury another. Makes me sad. Any advice is welcome. ❤️

A few days ago, I put a few blades of grass but then changed my mind and removed it
Good idea, their too young gor that yet.
Chicks get a lot of stress from shipping to store to the bins to your house, they often succumb to it. It's OK even though it's unfortunate.

Thank you. I forgot to mention I check them daily for pasty butt. Make sure their butts are not clogged
