Well, I managed to get the little one to drink a little bit of vinegar water, and MAY have gotten the equivalent of a drop of olive oil into her. Then the P.O. called and said my day-olds are in (a day early, yikes!). SO, I no longer have a separate brooder for her, so back with her siblings she went. Well, I caught the little stinker eating at the feeder, swollen crop and all! Now I don't know what to do. I have no easy way to isolate her from food right now, my unexpected arrivals took the other brooder and I don't have another bulb. I would put her in with the new ones, except there's food all over the place there. I did try putting her in a smaller box in the big brooder with her buddies, but every time she's managed to get herself out. Please advise! I may be able to go out and get another lamp, but not until this evening. She's picking the feathers off her crop and upper wing, she's so uncomfortable. She likes the crop massages, but I can't say I've noticed much of a difference afterward.....
