1 week old wht breed are they?

The first one is a Welsummer. It has the "V" on it's head and the chimpmunk stripes. Its' also brown, signifying it's a hen, the roos are silvery, same markings. Does MM sell Welsummers? Could be a Barnevelder but that looks like pretty clear "V" on her head. Not sure MM sells those either. I am raising these and it looks like mine, but I could be wrong also.

On the first one: I thought WElsummer, too, except that MM doesn't have WElsummers!!! Hmmm...... Do Speckled Sussex babies have that V on the head? They have the chipmunk stripes... that is all I can think of that MM carries. editedL yes, they have the V... I'll bet its a SS! (I am jealous!)

Light ones could be:
White Rocks
Buff Rocks
Buff Orps
White Orps
White Wyandottes
Delawares (if they get any balck in them especially!)
maybe even light colored Red Stars (sex link)

Black ones could be:
Black Star (sex link)
Black Australorps
Black Giants

The reddish ones might be Red Stars, RIR, or NHR

I have 3 ee's and only two of them have puffs on their cheeks, and I think my chicks legs have gotten darker from what I can remember.

Well, I guess it depends on breeding. But all of mine have had puffy cheeks, and green legs. Maybe their legs do get darker as they get older, but they should be hatched with greenish/darker colored legs.
