Something is definitely wrong with my Ameracauna hen. She is 13 months old and has been fine up until a few days ago when I noticed her face looked different. When I got closer it seemed the sides of her face were swollen. She doesn't have the big wattles like other breeds but she is definitely swollen on each side. Her beak is very arched and it seems she can't close her beak all the way. She is not making any beeping sounds like normal and she has definitely lost a lot of weight. We gave her a dropper of raw goat milk yesterday evening as well as a dillution of apple cider vinegar water. I'm not sure what's going on but want to make sure she doesn't have a spreadable disease. Any thoughts? I've tried to google for an answer but nothing seems to match her symptoms. She is walking around and seems to be pecking for food but I think she might be having trouble swallowing. We looked down her throat and didnt see anything but she does have a tiny chip on her beak.
