1 year old speckled sussex hen with crop issues- with video

Interesting, no her crop appears to be working, just gave her scrambled eggs with some chick grit mixed in to confirm all is good- then will send her out with the flock and monitor her today.

Do you have any more info on injured airsacs?

I haven't noticed her ever having laying problems, but this morning with a mostly empty crop she is still doing the neck adjustments. Any thoughts on treatment? Everything else is normal

I would give her some coconut oil twice a day for a few days, see if the crop empties. If it doesn't then access her and begin treating if necessary.

She did well out with the flock- I gave her two scrambled eggs this morning for breakfast and sent her on her way to enjoy her day! Her crop was being normal today and she no longer is doing the jerky head movement! She laid an egg- real test will be tomorrow morning at 5 am- first light crop inspections... stay tuned!
