Melatonin is the miracle drug in this house, at least for me, not for her. She takes it but it is my miracle.

Rett Syndrome is a neurogical disorder that affects almost every aspect of living and it only affects girls. It is on the autism spectrum but is the the only one of autism that is degenitative (sp). They are finding not as much as first believed. She is non-verbal, has no hand function, and has several digestive issus. We have managed her seizure and anxiety issues with medication. She is able to walk which roughly only 50% of able to. Most days she is able to chew and swallow so no feeding tube as of yet. I always go on to much about it so I will shut up now.

She is a wonderful delightful child who has the greatest laugh ever.
