I think what ghulst is asking is, why are the blue orp legs dark in color instead of white if they are true Orpingtons? Should blue orp legs be white or dark colored?

Gotcha! Whites and Buffs have pinckish white leggs, blue, black, splash and lavender have dark legs (blue to grayish black).
