our 3 cheeky poults at 10 days old


new coop made from wooden pallets. full sized Human access on the side. slider hatch door for the birds to come and go.


meet the parents. finished coop behind them now painted green.


cozy coop interior where the poults are now housed with a heat lamp and draught proofing around the top vents. The large log will be rolled into position for a roost perch once the adult birds are added to the coop.

Thanks! we didn't know what colour poults we would end up with. the Tom is a handsome Royal palm crossed with Standard Bronze and Eastern Wild. The hens are both Standard Bronze.
It looks like the little ones are going to have the same feathering as the Hens. (not sure which girl is responsible for the eggs we incubated)
