I'm out of space in my incubator and these are my extras. I need to buy a bigger incubator! I have a bunch of orders for chicks this spring so I won't be offering these eggs very often. Here's what I have to offer today.

10+ purebred lavender/ split lavender ameraucana eggs

Your odds of hatching a lavender is at least 50% ...here's the math.
............eggs are coming from my split lavender ladies which means, when fathered by the lavender rooster, half will be split lavender (visually black) the other half will be visually lavender.

I cannot gaunantee any lavenders will hatch but there is at least a 50% chance. Fertility is great!

Eggs are collected from last Saturday- this Saturday and will be shipped Monday. Eggs will be carefully packaged, and sent priority mail (a large flat rate box) with a tracking number.

At this time I only accept paypal, to ensure egg freshness.

Here's some eye candy...

I was wondering the same?
From what I have heard, the Lavender comes from a bantam and the birds havent gotten breed enough yet to get up to LF size yet!

Also the Ameraucana breeders club doesnt even include the lavenders.

I don't care that they are not a recognized color yet. The only way they can is if more people breed and take an interest and show. I just wanted to know if they are bantam or not, because I prefer bantam.

Can I pre-reserve some of these for when my bator has space? I'm thinking the beginning of March. Can you say a bit about their temperament? Beautiful birds!
Thanks,
Amberlin

They are large fowl. Yes lavender is not yet a recognized color but hopefully in the next year of two. The original stock came from Harry Shaffer.
