10 week old Australorp - rooster or hen??

We separated him from the others last night just to confirm it was this one doing the crowing and sure enough we woke at dawn to the sound of a rooster coming from our garage. I'm really sad now as the consensus is definitely male & poor Betty-Bob faces the chop. Thanks for you help with this one. The breeder, who I contacted by phone, tried to tell me that I may have a hen that crows - or some sort of hermaphrodite chicken as they rarely make mistakes - but I think it is obvious now its a rooster!!

I am happy to report back that Betty-Bob has a new home with an old friend of ours who just happens to breed this breed of chicken. He will be re'-housed a couple of hours from here on a lovely farm near the coast. Our friend says he is such a beautiful boy it would be a waste to butcher him. Yay! :)
