10 week old BLRW

17 weeks. I'm still stumped. Blue is very round. Black isn't as round, but still no crowing.

Saddle feathers on blacks can be hard to see in pics. Can you see any coming in on the black one? Lift up the other feathers and at 17 weeks they should be coming in at this point. The curved tail is very suspicious on the black.... Side pics of the blue would be helpful, but so far looks pullet based on color pattern.

Side of blue. Very round. I think hen for this one.

The floppy tail feathers on black really confuse me.

I’m thinking pullet for this one. Because of the amount of lacing it has, I would expect a splotchy bar on the wing by now if it was a roo.

With the black, it’s lacing is so minimal, the lack of the wing bar I would not assume means pullet, especially with the tail and body shape.

My Wyandotte pullets fight for dominance all the time! They’re always standing up to each other, bumping chests, giving each other the stink eye, and pulling feathers. They’re about sixteen to eighteen weeks old and have been doing it since they were about two weeks old!
