10 week old chick chicken with obviously dislocated leg. Do we try to set it or do we just put it down?

Are you certain it is dislocated, or could it be a slipped tendon or leg bone deformity? Pictures may help. Splinting can be done with padding, vet wrap, and popsicle sticks or other materials.

We had a vet out today checking on our goats. we asked about the chick. they felt it was possibly torn tendons, and we should splint it. so this is what we are trying

Sounds like a good idea. Torn or slipped tendons will heal and pull back into place, they just have to be guided.
