10 wild baby ducks dumped on door step

If mites they will look like tiny pepper and they move fast. never had any on my water fowl just chickens a few times, but if they are swimming daily I doubt mites. water helps keep the parasites off water fowl.

When you put them out at the pond be sure to gradually take them off of feed though so they aren't starved being they will be use to you feeding them it will take time for them to learn to forage for themselves. you could try some poultry dust just be careful using it so you nor them inhale it. do their bedding too.

I'm right tho? This isn't normal? My mom and my sister always give me a hard time saying I think everything is sick. I'll give the poultry dust a try too

I have no idea since I have never had wild ducklings, and usually mama duck is with any babies we have so I don't have a chance to inspect them unless something isn't right with one. But it won't hurt to dust them.

So just found out I'm expecting and it explains why my sence of smell has been so sensitive so these little stinky guys are going out to the barn tomorrow no if and or buts! I've lost hope on my goose eggs so I might try and give them to her she or my Muscovy who had done a terrible job raising her first batch of eggs out of 8 she has 1 left and she's guarding it with her life now. Rats got most of them. The only cat that hunted disappeared last month so the rats moved back in

but yeah I can't keep getting sick to my stomach everytime I come home so it's time to grow up and fly!
