10 wild baby ducks dumped on door step

They didn't make a sound all night till right now I guess they are ready to get up at 7:45 in the morning

I
Ha, it never ends! Border collies are great dogs, and I would very much like to own one some day. To reduce the mess, try putting a pan covered with hardware cloth under their waterer - that way, when they splash in the water, it falls into the pan instead of getting into the brooder and making a big stinky mess.
I will try that. They spent the night in the tub last night all my brooders are at my parents and my brother dropped them off at an ungodly late hour

Yes I do. Do you realize some people don't like to be talked to like an idiot? I love all my poultry I really shouldn't even have them they are bad for my horses and they are disgusting. the likely hood of it being a problem is very low.

Are they gonna figure out the food on their own? I got some worms and some chick starter ive never had ducks so young

I'm meeting the dnr today who is gonna take the ducks to a very heavily duck populated area and let them co mingle with the others where they will learn how to be duckies. I decided 10 babies was way too much when I work full time have horses goats chickens a rabbit a dog and cats and a full time boyfriend. And this is what's best they are always gonna wanna fly away and be wild ducks

That's not going to work. They are babies, they can't take care of themselves, and the other adult ducks that aren't their parents aren't going to care for them. They will die. Perhaps try instead to get them to a rehabber that can keep them. I don't know what a dnr is, is it a wildlife rehabber? Perhaps I'm reading this wrong and the plan is to raise them while they are in a wild setting but if you mean they will be turned loose on their own, they're going to die of exposure, or starvation, or predation. Heck, as a last resort, I'm sure you could even give them away on craigslist. Just make sure that the person taking them knows to keep them separate from their other birds for a while.
