Making headway on the 48x100 aviary that will have 20 of the landscaped 10x20 pens, hatching room, feed room and fully automated watering system for the birds and lanscaping.

The building is sunk 30" into the ground so no predators can dig in, 36" of metal siding, and 16 gauge 1/2x1 galvanized after all wire on all sides should make it predictor proof. Any suggestions?

Each pen has 4-6" of decomposed granite to keep the birds dry and out of the mud. The center 8' isle and 10' of each pen will be roofed. Each pen has a large live tree installed, logs and boulders. Any suggestions on shrubbery for pheasants?

Thank you. Of the 20 pens only 4 are complete so I'd like any feedback for shrubbery or ideas for habitat.

What kind of birds do you have and is this just a hobby or a business? It's just fabulous!
