Sometimes life sucks.
And just about as often, it is really hard to pick yourself back up.
What are some ways you cheer yourself up or calm down?
For me, it is getting the heck away from the source of the problem, out of the house, or turning off my technology and going outside. If I sit and watch animals for a long time or go for a very long walk, I find that I can keep myself under control or be happier.
But not everything works for everyone. What works for you? :)
I'm hoping we can help each other and suggest things for people to try when they need to relax or cheer up.

I occasionally go to bed early and have DH take dog out last so can have a relaxing shower before bed. He occasionally gets cooking duty which he enjoys when I am without a dinner plan.
