Agreed and it seems to be getting worse each year and starting earlier. Spring and Fall weather Temps last about 2 weeks

That can help for sure.
Me, and the birds, suffer more from the heat when the humidity is up.
We don't get in the 100's, but 90° and 90% feels horrible.

Apparently the virtue here in California's central valley is that the humidity is so low - I did check and it was 29% at some point - it starts at about 50% in the cool mornings and drops off rapidly. At least itis cooling at night - later in the summer, it won't even do that. I"m finding that this is more horrible than the years I lived in India!

That's what I hate about these summers. When it doesn't drop below 70 at night it is absolutely MISERABLE.
