10th Annual 2019 New Years Day Hatch-along!

Oh I slept..... ok ish till the 2 turkey poults and 2 chicks started complaining loudly that they wanted to go play with the other babies in the brooder...... I gave in at 6:30 and gave them a ride to the other room. Wow it's much quieter in here!

I have one quail out!

Yay! Congrats! Mine are pretty much all dry now. It looks like there are a couple white, mostly pharoh type and a few neat looking chocolate colored ones

Everyone is a bit more fluffy now Those little quail are fast little buggers!

I hatched quail for a few friends earlier this year..... so cute! But man do they grow Fast.


What do you feed them when they are that small??? We finally ended up using a mixture of purina flock raiser and the turkey grower my local feed store mixes and running it through the blender till it was super fine.
