I have 5 out and action in other eggs. I would get a picture but it is not easy to see inside the brinsea

I hatched quail for a few friends earlier this year..... so cute! But man do they grow Fast.


What do you feed them when they are that small??? We finally ended up using a mixture of purina flock raiser and the turkey grower my local feed store mixes and running it through the blender till it was super fine.

I have a higher protein starter that says it is for quail, turkeys and guinea hens. I will grind it up at first to make sure they can eat it

Nice! Not very many folks around here raise anything but chickens so finding a good quality feed is difficult

The TSC Here is carrying more now. The other feed store in Woodland became a car Wash!

I moved the first 5 from the incubator to the brooder and 3 more are out!

I hope more will hatch out over night

12 coturnix quail
6 BCM
8 F2 OE (4 girls, 4 boys)

I have a broody turkey that would love to try to raise the OE cockerels so they'll be making their way out to her in a little bit. Everyone else is running around in they're brooder now

Still hatching here..... I think one of my bators was set a little low
