I got curious and candled my turkey eggs on day 4 and found 4 showing development ..... I will wait a few more days and check again

I think I might set quail eggs on a Friday. I don't know. Maybe I should set the Marans and Olive egger eggs that I have sitting here too :/ That would be a lot of babies for a January hatch.....

I guess l'll be throwing these in the Bator tonight. BCM and Olive eggers (babies will be F2 and sex linked). Hubby going to kill me on New year's day :/ 9 quail eggs set aside for Friday so far too....

The color is good on the Marans eggs. Did they just molt?

Thank you. They've been laying pretty steady now for a while. This is actually a bit faded from how dark they usually are. To be fair though, the picture makes them look sightly darker than they are.

Just did a count...... ok 40 chicken eggs and 21 turkey eggs in incubators...... just a few for fertility test.
I did a candle and the 6 turkey eggs due Jan 1st look to be going well
