10x20 metal pole frame(like a white part tent frame or a temp shelter to maybe park your car under)

Anyone have any thoughts on using a discarded 10x20 metal pole frame for a run? I was thinking of putting some sort of supports for the roof between segments and then something for light roofing to keep the rain out and shade the area a little....and maybe X supports between the side/end segments to support that and the chicken wire. Spray the legs with something like truck bed liner spray to keep the legs from rusting away immediately. Any thoughts? (good or bad!) First time chicken keeper, 15 chicks on their way, have the main house plan already, just trying to come up with some sort of coop for while were at work and they cant be roaming the yard.
