10x6 roofed with a 8x20 run

Heat index 115° so its slow going with a few hours in the mornings and maybe a few in the evening if it's not raining. It's still to hot and humid now @9:15p.m 91°
Well, i needed 60 foot of fencing. it was cheaper to get 100' roll of 19ga 1/2" hardware cloth so... now I'm going with 14'x6' enclosure. The extra poles are in and doing a little framing. The roof should be on by Friday. That's the same day the $142 roll of 48"x 100' 1/2 wire is being delivered free shipping. I'll get some pics up this weekend. You have to see the roots and tree stump removal to get another 4 feet. I have an old bar and chain for the chainsaw. I can stick it in the ground and cut roots that the saw saw can't handle. The garden tiller makes short work with getting the ground level and worktable so i can get the wire apron below grade.

I have it framed up enough to put the roof on. I got the roof on just before dark. I'll have to take pic of that tomorrow. Here's a few of the roots i had to remove and below grade ready for fence wire. The wire will run up the side past the roof. Now that the roof is on i can run the wire and back fill.

I got the roof screwed on and some wire up today. The wire is running down into the ground at a steep angle. The photo doesn't show it well. Screws with washers and 3/4 electric staples holding the wire. I'll cover the seems with dog eared fence boards. I'm liking it a lot.

I got some of the dog eared fence boards up and should have that end trimmed out tomorrow. I started back filling over the wire as well. I'll get the tin for the roost box from my brother-in-law sometime this week. He has a little press brake so i can/should be able to work the tin to fit nice.

I like how you incorporated your ground apron. Is that all one piece with the hardware cloth on the sides, or did you overlap it under the retaining 2x4's?
48" 1/2 HW cloth. It give me about 12" apron . The 2x4 has about a 3" over lap with screws and washers just in the middle. The 2x4 on the bottom is just tacked on the inside above the turn to the apron.
3/4 " electric staples in between the screws and washers and I'm covering the seams with dog eared fence boards or trimming the coop with them is more like it.
