what the heck? surely she should be laying or crowing by now.she LOOKS like a hen (that's why I say she), but she acts like a rooster. when a rooster tries to mount her, she attacks him and tries to get him with her nonexistent spurs

she will even come after me!

Maybe the winter has her mixed up. I have quite a few that hatched June 1, 2010 and are still not laying. If they don't start soon they might end up in the chicken jacuzzi aka:stewpot.

that could be a possibility. but my past egg eaters have always left evidence behind, ie wet shavings, some yolk, etc.
