11 turned out to be boys out of 14 😩

People are at times so negative on this site.. I swear they enjoy the bad luck of others. It just gives them that "gotcha" feeling that they obviously want.

I agree that a phone call could have been better.. and possibly you should have had a less accusatory tone at first. There's a time for accusing in that situation, but not before the more flies with honey method is tried.

23% is not 50/50, which are the odds for each egg what each egg. I know the cynical know it alls chime in with every negative take they can conceive.. with the math they describe, even though they don't understand it. I've never had that kind of luck in a hatch or an order.

It is bad luck... I never said that Hoover's had fouled you, and I don't believe they would. All the cynics who appear to enjoy your bad luck fail to realize that even though its bad luck... you probably won't order from Hoover's again. So Hoover's loses in this deal, and you lose.. in other words its a lose lose.

I sell straight run chicks too.. If someone CALLED, and I did say CALLED, me and told me of such unfortunate luck I'd make it right.. So that next time they buy, they'll buy from me.

This was not a car deal where someone was stuck with a over valued piece of junk, these are baby chicks.. They come from eggs.. eggs are dirt cheap, while future business is expensive.

STRAIGHT RUN SEX-LINKS! haha
That reminds me of a story. One time at a Tracor Supply I saw a bin of ISA Browns, straight runs. There were one or two red chicks left and a lot of white ones. The lady running that section knew what sex links were but did not realize that ISA Browns were sex links. As soon as I mentioned it she understood what had happened.

Some people will jump be tempted to go on a rant about TSC employees, about how terrible they all are. I don't share that opinion. Like any other business TSC employs individual people. Some are quite knowledgeable in certain areas but not real strong in others. Some know an easy way to load a 16' cow panel in an 8' trailer, some just have to do it the hard way. It doesn't matter if they are a school teachers, cops, check-out clerks, or anything else. Some are just better than others.

I feel the same way about the employees. I feel it’s not fair to judge them because mostly they are there to support their families, not give advice or know half of what they are doing. It’s really not their fault.

Okay okay, I get it, I should have CALLED. I don’t think they did that on purpose by any means. I also didn’t expect for much to actually happen. I think the wording of their response just kinda ticked me off- which I take responsibility for. I most likely took it wrong. In my defense I did wait a bit before I responded back because I knew I took it wrong. But now I’m just to the point- all I need is one pullet and one roo out of this deal and I guess the rest is just extra 🤷‍♀️
