Hello! I"m new to chickens and I have been trying to figure out the genders of mine but I'm just not sure enough in my abilities yet to be certain. These guys are 11 weeks old and I got them from TSC. Sorry if the picture quality is poor I had a hard time catching them on camera. Also 2 of them, as you will see, are sporting chicken saddles because someone was picking their back feathers bald. Thank you in advance for any insite you may have.

Here are 2 of them.

This one I"m pretty sure is a pullet (well hopefully because shes my daughters favorite)

Well, the first one and the third look like cockerels to me. The ones with the saddle could be pullets because the are going bald in the back because the cockerels are attempting to mate them. Just a thought. The second one looks like a pullet to me, but I could be wrong. Hope this helps!!!!

Well I had a crow...or shall i say a loud crow like howl come from the one in the first picture this morning. That was quite a surprise to hear and see.

I didnt realise they would go up on tiptoe to let that loud noise out. One of the pullets (we think) was seen picking the ones in saddles but maybe they are roos and they are getting picked because they aren't the top roo?

How many birds altogether? If it's three, you have two males and one female.

They're too young to be seriously mating, so feather damage is more likely from a lack of space or protein at this point.
