11 week old speckled Sussex Rooster in need of new home

Hello! I have an 11 week old speckled sussex rooster in need of rehoming. I do not keep roosters because we do not free range, and I have young kiddos who help in the coop, so I don't feel comfortable keeping one around. I do want to be upfront about the health history of our flock... We had a two cases of suspected coccidiosis, so treated the whole flock per my vet's instructions. This rooster was not one of the ones suspected of having it, but was treated with the rest. He has always been happy and healthy, and remains so. I am located in San Antonio TX near Boerne.

Coccidiosis, is a common thing, and is treatable. It is not a long lasting condition,,
Your rooster is not infected with it, and a carrier of it.
I'm sorry I cant help you with adopting your rooster. Not allowed to keep roosters in my area.
