11-week Olive Egger - saddle feathers?

I’m currently facing the same “is this olive egger a roo?” question and wishing more would follow up. Was this chicken a cockerel? I have one with an early large red comb and iridescent feathers that at 6 weeks I’ve already trained to sit on my hand and be a good…boy? Wanting to re-home him sooner than later as I’m not allowed roosters. Thank you!

Hi! This is kind of an older post but if you share a picture, a lot of us will be able to guess the gender of your OE.

Any black chicken will have sort of iridescent look to the feathers in certain lighting- either sex.

My hen (whatever her breed) has gorgeous copper/blue/green irredescense to her feathers. And she is most definitely a hen lol.
