I got theses 3 baby chicks 2 days ago from an old friend that was giving them for free. I took them bc he had moved houses and just left them there can anyone tell me what kind they are or what age? Also what gender? I feel like num 2 is a roo and num 1 is a hen but not sure about the other one bc its comb part got bit off or something

They are young, 3 weeks or less. #1 looks to be a Partridge Cochin, #2 & #3 are a little harder to tell at this age. #2 & #3 are likely cockerels with that much comb at this age.

Thank you! #2 has feathers on his feet but not as much as #1.

1 is a partridge Cochin pullet. I don`t know about the rest

agree with Gray Farms for this very young age. Please post new photos at 6-8 weeks of age .

Also I have one more question.. should I get 1 more hen? I have notice that #2 sometimes try's to fight over the hen:/ I'm just not sure if I should get one now that's around there age if I can find one or wait until there older and she starts laying eggs then get one the same age as then?
