I want to join! We have eggs hatching starting dec 14th and each weekend for the foreseeable future. The first hatch will be silkies and copper marans from a local source. Starting the 21st we are expecting turkeys and chicks.

So after I originally stated that I didn't want to hatch anymore this year...one of my girls has went broody for the 6th time this year

I've gave her 11 eggs (one which is an odd shape but I've popped it in just as a 'bonus' I guess rather than throwing it away) and I'll add one more egg in either tonight or tomorrow when I get one off a specific hen.

They are due to hatch the 24-25th of December so I may have some Christmas chicks.

I worked it out and I'm away on New Years so I couldn't do a New Years hatch anyways.

Yes that has worked well for us in the past... these will be fair projects for my DD!

DD set 43 turkey eggs last night due Jan 4th
Next weekend she will set any Nn eggs from her black pen to hatch the same day.
She plans to set all the turkey and Nn eggs for at least the next 3 weeks.
The biggest struggle will be brooder space dependent on what hatches
