When were you thinking about setting eggs?

As soon as the eggs in my incubator hatch. Due next week. Quail eggs.

The first F2 babies just hatched last weekend. Some look more ameraucana and some look more silkie. I will be keeping the ones that are more silkie like then when they get older and start laying, I'll cut back further and keep the ones laying the most blue eggs. Here are some of the first F2 babies

Thanks! I had put some Guinea and silver pheasant eggs in the incubator, but today I am putting some Serama eggs under a couple hens. I'll send you a message when I know the count

We put our first eggs in today! Not sure what will happen but we will see!

Do turkey and guinea eggs develop more slowly? I checked yesterday for veins and there were none except for a Call Duck egg that showed some promise. I am incubating 18 turkey, 15 guinea and 4 call duck eggs.

How many days either way can we go? What's the latest hatch date?

Two or three before and after the set day. It is a 5 day range
