Welcome to the 11th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!

It's that time again! Every year, hundreds of members come together to set eggs to hatch on the exact same day - the day BEFORE Easter.

ACKKK! It CAN'T be that time again already ... my Nannies aren't laying reliably enough, yet! The Kindergarten Dropouts are already on it, but I don't need any more moose-sized mixes. I need my Nankins to get on the proverbial ball. Lessee ... March 21st ... that leaves less than two weeks to convince the ladies that it's time to earn their feed, again. I'm thinking of hanging a picture of Foghorn Leghorn in the coop. He claims to be quite the ladies' man, so he ought to make a good pin-up boy. If that doesn't work, we'll try a picture of a frying pan ... or the freezer. I want babeez!

Me neither, unless you count the 10 miles I'm going to drive to pick up the eggs "shipping". lol, It certainly isn't the longest trip I've taken to pick up eggs!

I probably shouldnt as I keep telling myself I have enough chickens but I have a broody hen that I can give the chicks to once they hatch so why not. I would like to enter and hatch some chickens
