11th Annual Easter Hatch a Long 2020

I set 11 eggs Friday night another two this morning and will set whatever is in the coop when I get home this evening so will have a final count then. All Orpington eggs so just chicken for me.

I’m in. I just pulled out and cleaned up the incubator I haven’t used in about 6 years. Temps are fluctuating more than I like, but I thought it would be enjoyable for the kids to have newly hatched chicks for Easter. I bought eggs from a local person, who knows what they are. I did crack open 6 yesterday and only saw one bullseye, but I am seriously out of practice, so hopefully we’ll get something to hatch!

ETA: I set 29 chicken eggs.

Yep yep, getting about 3 eggs a day so if they keep that up or increase should have no trouble having a decent lot to incubate

Friend found an impressive number of light Sussex eggs sitting behind their garbage can. Setting them in the incubator.
