Just did a quick candle, look like for sure 8 non fertile, one of the rest may be a quitter, look like a blood ring. The rest have movement... o boy what will I do with that many chicks.. hehehehe. Day 10 for mine, 11more to go..

Well did a candle of the chicken eggs set for the hal. Looks like only 2 were fertile. If my rooster doesn't pick up the pace may end up in a stew pot, if I find another one. Have another 24 eggs to set on Thursday this week. From this pen.
Will candle turkey eggs later in the week.

Maybe you can trim on the underside of your chickens. Sometimes that helps fertility.

I candled mine today, took out 25 or so eggs. So still nearly 100 growing.

One of my Ameraucana pullets decided to participate in the Easter hatch! I found her today outside of the chicken yard sitting in an old nest box on top of 19 eggs!

UPDATE:
tomorrow will be day 10 for me and we have 4 non fertile ones which makes me sad because our rooster is very active and really determined always to get to all his hens.

We also have 1 quitter but I’m not 100% sure about it though... It doesn’t have any movement and looks like it has stopped developing a few days ago.
... and what I’m thinking it looks like it may be forming a blood ring. :/ that sucks
I’ll keep checking it and see how it goes if I’m certain it’s a blood ring I’ll toss it.

Ugh, the thermostat went nuts and cooked my eggs. Up to 108°, idk for how long. Not much hope left for these eggs. But I ordered myself a new incubator that holds 96 eggs!
