Thank you! I have bookmarked your reply so I can refer people to it since I see this question a lot. I am debating on buying both Brinsea and Nurture Right 360. Did you get yours through Amazon? Gotta check with my husband if we can get both, but right now he is very convinced at the importance of incubators right now.

No problem! I have 3 NR360s now, lol, so 2 I purchased as Tractor Supply when I had the "Neighbor's Club" 10% off coupons and the 3rd I bought used but it was also originally from Tractor Supply. They're Versions 2, 3, and 4, all work great!

The Brinsea Mini II Advance I purchased on eBay used she said she originally purchased it from Amazon but it was only used once. I had some issues with the heating wires smelling bad to me but after taking it apart and sterilizing it twice and after running it for weeks and them just allowing it to sit open the smell did go away. My nose is apparently easily offended by the smell of warm red rubber coating. :lau

Thanks! We live in a small town so they (TSC) don’t carry too much extras here. But I see I can order it and have it delivered to them for free and they have curbside pickup now. So hmm may just do that!

A week before they hatch is NOT a good idea for my incubator to eat poop. If money were not an issue which incubator would you recommend. I know there’s a ton and people have different experience with each one, both good and bad. I’m just needing a starting point because I will be ordering one today. Preferably not a still air one.

I’m looking at my built in thermometer and it’s going crazy. In 10 secs it has read 10 different temperatures all while having the heater on constantly. So I think that’s how it managed to get to 108 earlier.

I just bought a Hovabator to replace my Farm Innovators - I got it from the incubator warehouse site for $140ish (it was the basic kit for the one with the fan and a thermometer/Hydrometer and an egg turner. - I upgraded the thermometer/hydrometer to one with a cord for an extra $5.00). Shipping was fast. I can message you the link if you would like.

Yes, just to have and to research. Never hurts to have options. Thank you. For now I am definitely looking into the 360 one.

I hear there's a lot of demand for chicks lately... don't know if that's localized or even if it's the case here. We've been staying home and live way out of town.
It’s “national” news here!! They interviewed cackle hatchery on a post I saw this morning.....of course most of the ppl purchasing chicks have no idea that it will take 6 months to first egg!! It’s becoming an even scarier time for chicks than even risk of getting the covid!!!!!

Turns out my husband does so much business in our TSC that they’re willing to exchange this faulty one for a new one!! AND they had the Nurture Right 360 in stock so he bought that one too. Now to make the switch since I need to clear this one so he can return it and the offer is only open today.

Oh wow!! I'm waiting til June to order some, but I wonder if I’ll be able to with this surge of chick ordering! (I am waiting til June to add guineas to my order since last time I ordered 15 only 6 survived—thanks to my dog 😤—and all are male 🤦‍♀️ so I want to try and see if I can get at least one female. My only female got eaten by a hawk 😢 just last month too!!)
