Have you hatched shipped guinea eggs or do you hatch your backyard ones? I’m wanting to get some shipped to me since my husband doesn’t care to make the drive (he dislikes their calls) but he said he doesn’t mind if I order some and get them shipped.

Not shipped, no. I got my stock from a feed store.

My mom used to have her dogs drag in 3-6 ticks to her bed a week. Since we've had guineas, she only seen that many. its been over a year.

There is nothing worse to me than waking up with a tick crawling on me because I cannot get back to bed. I feel like they're crawling on me all night after I find one

I would put antibiotic ointment instead of oil because oil dries out after a while. I used antibiotic ointment my last hatch and it really worked to keep the membrane moist for a very long period of time.

You do not have to use a lot because it spreads very far.

I would also candle the egg to make sure that there is still movement.

Ducklings take forever. Mine have been internally pipped since yesterday.

Ok so the last ones have decided to take it a lot slower.. lol. Three zipping slower than I have ever seen.. they are officially in the beginning hours of day 21. Tomorrow at this time will be a full 21 days..
